The Healing Apprenticeship is an amazing week-long Intensive at the beautiful Goddess Garden Retreat Center, Cahuita, Costa Rica, January 28 – February 4, 2023.

Have you had enough of the same obstacles showing up again and again, no matter how long you are in Therapy, practicing Meditation, Yoga or other Spiritual practices?
The Healing Apprenticeship Costa Rica 2023!
Imagine a week of Healing through Meditation, Reiki, Connection and Movement by the Caribbean Sea on the outskirts of a tropical forest. Birds, Howler Monkeys, Sloths, and the resident dogs and cats all part of our collective journey. We will be nourished with yummy delicious meals (mostly vegetarian), the on-site pool, walking trails, The Goddess Tree, and the beach down the road.
Our days will consist of simple movement to start the day, Meditation and Teachings in the morning, Reiki Training and practice in the afternoons, more Teachings and Movement/Dance at night.
Having Meditation, Yoga, Qi Gong, or similar reflective/grounding practice is preferred.
The Healing Apprenticeship Costa Rica 2023!
Each morning we will have a brief movement or breathing practice before breakfast to connect and be present. The facilitators will change throughout the week to offer different methods and perspectives.
Our Morning Meditations and Teachings will include several meditations supporting our Connection to Self, Connections to other’s Higher Selves, Building a Living, Working Faith and a system for Grounding & Centering in the body, Balancing energy centers and distant Vibrational Healing. The morning Teachings and practice are intense.
Each participant will receive all of the First and Second Degree Reiki Attunements, training and practice during our retreat as a Certified Second Degree Reiki Practitioner in the Usui Reiki Lineage. Previous Reiki experience is not necessary.
What is Reiki?
Our nights will include Teachings to supplement the work we have been doing all day. This will be followed by movement and dance to music from DJ Mystical shaking loose anything not needed, keeping our energy and bodies at an optimum level.
What is Conscious Dance?
There will be free time each day for relaxation and reflection. We will also visit Cahuita National Park on Friday afternoon!

Some Recommended Things to Bring:
- Passport – if you are not from Costa Rica (Please do remember this! Make sure it is not expired! More details here: http://www.costarica-embassy.org/index.php?q=node/72 )
- Light Jacket or rain poncho (The evenings are sometimes cool, and it might rain during our stay.)
- Your favorite dance pants! Yeahh!!
- Hiking shoes
- Flip-flops or sandals
- Toiletries (toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo, etc…)
- Any medications
- Money Belt (Important for keeping money safe)
- Luggage Lock (To lock your luggage for safety while traveling)
- Day pack (For excursions/hikes)
- Small flashlight or headlamp
- Sunscreen (very important even if you don’t burn easily – it gets hot!)
- Water Bottle
- Insect repellent (good to have for hikes)
- Swimsuit (there is a swimming pool at Goddess Garden and the beach is a 5 minute walk!)
- Old beach towel (GG does not provide towels that can be taken to the beach, because of the black sand. Given the climate, air drying works fine, but if you prefer a beach towel please bring one with you!)
- Camera
- A Guidebook if you are planning on traveling before or after the retreat
- For people who want to improve their Spanish, bring a Spanish phrase book or a translation app on your phone.
- Journal (to document your adventure!!)

*Early Bird rate until November 15, 2022, then add $100 to above costs
